The name "Thrysa" blends the ideas of “thrive” and “asa,” meaning healer or protector, and serves as a reflection of our organization’s mission: we are dedicated to driving purposeful and positive growth, while respecting tradition and advancing innovation. This connection highlights our vision to foster progress that both protects and uplifts communities, combining heritage with forward-thinking solutions.

At the center of our work is our founder, Teresa Money, a seasoned healthcare executive, registered nurse, and entrepreneur with more than 28 years of experience shaping policy, operations, and people inside major health plans. She holds an MBA and has spent her career breaking silos and building bridges across clinical, corporate, and community spaces.

Frustrated by systemic gaps in access, equity, and inclusion Teresa launched The Thrysa Group to bring purpose-driven ventures to life. Teresa’s work is rooted in lived experience, fueled by data, and driven by a bold belief: We don’t have to wait for systems to change. We can build better ones.
